Optoma came out with three new portable DLP projectors today. The EP716P and EP719P both weigh in at only 4.4 lbs and offer the same connectivity, two D-sub 15 pin, one Composite RCA, and one S-video plugs. The EP716P has a brightness of 2000 lumens and a SVGA resolution. The EP719P has a brightness of 2300 lumens and an XGA resolution.

Optoma recently released the EP1610 DLP Home Cinema Projector. This projector displays a native (1280 x 768) resolution with easy scaling to a 720p HDTV image. At a brightness of 2500 ANSI lumens and a 2500:1 contrast ratio, both the brightness and contrast ratio are very high for a Home Cinema Projector.

Toshiba came through with a surprise today with their releasing of a new inexpensive Large Venue projector. The TDP-TW350U DLP projector offers all sorts of features ranging from 802.11g wireless connectivity, BNC and DVI-I video inputs.
