The projector uses a DLP (Digital Light Processing) chip and LED light module to project a picture onto a surface.Apparently, it takes a cell phone to use this device. Check it out in the video demo below--

We covered Texas Instruments’ (TI’s) phone-based DLP Pico projector last year, including this cool, short video of it in action, but until now it’s been a prototype. Mobile phones are certainly going to be improved in 2008 and 2009 with e-paper and projectors for better video playback and web browsing capabilities. An Israeli company named “Explay” just developed the “world’s smallest projector”. This Explay nano-projector is tiny enough to be embedded in a mobile phone and other portable gadgets. The small projector can display images 20 times bigger than the device itself, the aim is to see this technology integrated into 3rd party products. Source:
